Program 03

Strategic Planning

Two focused days away from the office with your leadership team — leaving with a plan everyone understands and a few priorities everyone owns.

Team planning with sticky notes on a wall

What you walk away with

One-page plan

Purpose, three-year targets, annual goals — on a single page.

Quarterly priorities

Three to five company priorities, each with one owner.

Scorecard

A short set of weekly numbers your team reviews together.

Quarterly reviews

Half-day check-ins to review progress and reset priorities.

The retreat agenda

Before the retreat, we interview each leader and review your numbers so the time together is spent deciding, not catching up.

Day one

Where are we, really?

Honest review of the past year, market position, strengths, and the issues no one has said out loud.

Day two

Where are we going?

Three-year picture, one-year goals, quarterly priorities, and who owns what.

After

Keep it alive

Written plan within one week, and quarterly reviews so the plan doesn't end up in a drawer.

Planning FAQ

Who should attend?

Usually the CEO and direct reports — typically four to eight people. Larger groups need a different format.

Where are retreats held?

Away from your office — a hotel meeting room or conference space in DFW works well. Venue costs are paid by the client and listed separately in the proposal.

Get everyone pulling the same way.
